We inspect and test for any deficiencies, safety hazards and foreseeable repairs. The areas to be inspected include: Exterior, Roof, Garage, Kitchen, Interior, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC (Heating /Cooling) and Structure. All reports will have photos of any deficiencies we find, and the photos will be marked up to highlight the area(s) of concern. The report will include two summaries (Major Deficiency and Minor Deficiency) which help our clients to understand which items are of greater concern, and which items can be addressed at a later time.
The process generally takes around three hours onsite for homes that are 2500 square feet or less. We encourage you to follow along during the inspection – we make it our goal to teach every client about their new property. We’ll show you where the important stuff is and share some general tips and pointers on how to get the most out of your new purchase.
Our home inspections follow the Standards of Practice set forth by the American Society of Home Inspectors, which can be found on our resource page. A digital report is available soon after the completion of the inspection. The reports are stored online for at least five years, and can be downloaded in PDF format. We offer complimentary phone support for as long as you own the property that we inspected! Whether you need some advice about a remodel project or just have a simple question, we are only a phone call, text or email away!
